Top 4 Toughest Exercises In The World

Exercising can be tough if you don’t have the discipline to stick with it to increase your endurance and stamina. For some people, though, pushing the limits is what they live for. Here are 4 of the toughest exercises out there that’ll test your strength. We must warn you though, these are not for beginners, so please make sure you’re physically prepared to excuse these types of exercises before you try them.

1. The Two-Finger Push-Up

This exercise is exactly how it sounds. Why use two arms when you can use two fingers instead? Not only is this extreme form of push-up hard on the major muscles in your arm, but it’s also really hard on the fingers you choose to put all your weight on. You have to be very comfortable doing one-arm push-ups firstly, otherwise, you’ll fall flat on your face. In order to successfully pull off this exercise, your forearms and wrists must be ready to support your weight. So work on those first before even attempting something like this!

2. The Superman Push-Up

Looks can definitely be deceiving, especially when it comes to the Superman Push-Up. It may seem somewhat simple, but once you start, you quickly come to the realization that your core has to be strong. How it works is you lay flat on your stomach with your arms spread out in front of you. You have to then lift yourself from the ground using your shoulder and core muscles. It’s a difficult task unless you work out regularly. Successfully completing this means you’re pretty much Superman!

3. One-Arm Ab Roller

We all know about the ab roller and how it can help you achieve rock hard abs, but what if you did it with only one arm? It’s a tough task, but if you’ve mastered the ab roller with both arms, then you can attempt to do it with one arm. Keeping your balance is half the battle, while the other half requires your strength to hold on. Work on your core before you attempt this, otherwise, you might hurt yourself pretty badly.

4. The Human Flag

Holding onto a sturdy vertical pole, you have to use your arm, shoulder, back and ab muscles to hold your body up sideways to look like a flag. Except, instead of looking like a flag blowing in the wind, you’re more like a frozen flag. This requires you to have an impeccable physique, with amazing upper-body strength and a powerful core. Practice definitely makes perfect!

The human body can be conditioned to do almost anything we want it to do, as long as we have determination and willpower. To further discipline yourself, check out books like Keys to Developing Jaw Dropping Abs, by John Levy, to find ways to work out your body and get the abs you’ve always wanted. Maybe then you’ll have the core strength to do these extreme exercises! Feel free to browse through our online library, www.viewheel.com, for more books on fitness.
